What started as a working farm has become something much bigger - a busy rural hub bringing together farming, food, events, animal experiences and countryside services from one working farm.
A family-run farm based at Oakleys Farm, Dilhorne, Staffordshire - where farming, food and community come together.
Established in 2006, the farm has grown into a busy rural hub in the Staffordshire Moorlands, bringing together farming, food, events, animal experiences and practical countryside services from one working farm.
Today, Oakleys Farm is home to a wide range of farm-based businesses, all built around the same values: hard work, quality, community, animal care and a proper love for rural life, and it all comes from here.
Oakleys Farm Group was established in 2006 and remains proudly family-run. Based in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands, the farm has grown steadily by following a simple approach: work hard, care about the details, and create something useful for local people, families, businesses and visitors.
Every part of Oakleys Farm has developed from life on the farm itself. Our water buffalo are at the heart of the farm's identity, providing premium home-reared buffalo meat through our farm shop and food offering. Our events, animal experiences and rural services have grown naturally around the people, animals and land that make the farm what it is today.
It's not a polished, corporate attraction. It's a real working farm, with real people behind it. That's what gives it its character.
Oakley started selling chicken eggs at the side of the road - the very first Oakleys Farm venture.
The first year of Christmas tree sales on the farm - the start of a farm tradition.
Oakley Feeds was launched, alongside buying and selling cattle, chickens and goats, and a growing agricultural contracting business.
Our first Christmas on the Farm event welcomed visitors to celebrate the season here with us.
The first water buffalo joined the farm - now the heart of the farm’s identity and our farm-to-fork food.
In August 2025 the Farm Shop opened its doors, bringing our own produce and the best of our local makers under one roof.

Luckily, the humans write it down: what's in season at the shop, who's just been born, what's on at the farm. No noise, no spam.
